Death's Pull

Should care about makeup Should care about clothes Should be thinking of boys This isn't the life I chose
Instead I think about pain I tremble in fear I dream of death And the whispers I hear
In my own little world It's so dark and cold I sit in my room Wait for darkness to take hold
My instrument of choice Is a gleaming silver blade Cutting so deep Hoping the pain will fade
My emotional torment Replaced with physical As the blood flows I feel death's dark pull
When my mind clouds over Peace flows through me My soul is released And my heart is free
