Mythical Dreams IV - Cyclops Guard (REVISED)

the giant cyclops stands guarding
the entrance to this cave daring
anyone to try to enter his abode
his single eye placed in the cener
of his head looks in my direction
menacingly i dare not take the
chance but i stare helplessly as
i watch my mother standing in the
entranceway and i feel the need to
somhow save her
i awake from my mythical dream
with a need to analyze this vision
i need to understand what the cyclops
stands for what symbol does he mean
could it be our singlemindedness to
find the cure for alzheimers which
would explain my desire to save my mom
