let me out to
sit in the rain
for it to nurture the seed
of the grain
that patiently
silently
lays within
this ground dry
infertile skin
to let it flow along
this spine
and stream in my palm to deepen
the line
of life
to satiate
my thirst for angels
and stars
to drain the fall colors and
shadows from eyes
to draw on my thighs a
primitive chart
for giving a path to
this naked heart
and dig in my lap
bottomless springs
infinite mirrors for untouchable
wings
