in the glory of the virgin light
the dawn that beckons me
alas sweet child born again
what yonder do i see
t'is the morning of my youth
creeping shadows bane
illusions of the devil night
now in the battle slain
thus do i imprison thee
vodun witches beast
your master is no threat to me
upon her flesh i feast
brilliant eyes alive again
no longer in the wake
born again of etheral light
and in this life partake
