Love sweeps you off your feet,
and then you're really falling.
You cherish your lover,
for he says he really loves you.
People look and smile
Parents yell and weep
They say you are too young,
you don't know what love means.
Inside you're really crying,
and no one even knows why.
Just when you think you're right,
someone tells you you're wrong.
Just when you fell in love,
you're told to stay strong.
Just when you think he cares,
you turn around and he's gone.
