Silver glints in the pale light of the moon
A blade so bright and promising
The razor's edge is sharp and clean
Undimmed and glittering
She lowers the knife to her wrist
A deep breath and she begins
It digs into her veins
A sacrifice to her despair
A slow trickle of crimson
Cascades down her shaking hand
It drips onto the floor
In a puddle
She watches fall
Into a pool on the tiled ground
She lifts a finger to her mouth
Salty and thick, she swallows

insightful.......sad. But the way through the darkness is slowly unveiled through expression...
It's good.....dark, you should show your friend.......maybe it will open up an outlet for her.....
great write.....i hope your struggles are short lived...
