So Pretty

Contributed by Saitou-sama on Wednesday, 25th February 2004 @ 11:15:42 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

How I love to slice you
Limb from limb
To see you writhe
To hear you scream

You look so pretty when you cry
Look up at me with fear
Your lovely eyes, puffy and red
Now weep for me again

You scream so hard a vessel bursts
And scarlet tears fall from your eyes
A gash across the mouth
Your lip is cracked and bleeding

You sink to the floor
I look down and you and grin
A mess you are, so bloody
And with my blade, I slash your face, diagnol

You'll never be so pretty again...

Very dark and disturbing...I love it. I haven't seen many poems written from this point of view that I liked but I definitely like this one.
