so many long years gone
his love that took my life by storm,
caressed my heart, soothed my tears
kindly understood my fears,
alas, he's still so dear to me
his spirit spends most days with me,
now body rests in urn of stone
i live my life as one alone,
on a shelf within my room
sleeping silence quiet gloom,
for he'd walked on earth with me
love for each other was deep,
no slumber now in dreamless night
for his spirit's long taken flight,
yet words come to my beating heart
in death still he'll not depart,
as when he died i called in vain
don't leave me in this endless pain,
and stared into the sunless daze
with cold face and icy stare,
i know that where his ashes sleep
my soul too's been buried deep,
now he dwells above the rainbows
will not be soon enough that i too, go.

| A sad..sad thing it is when we lose one that we love to mortality's jaws. I felt an echo in your words to when my father passed away...but perhaps an echo more so of my mother's feelings at the time....but..all in all a truly haunting contrivances that tugs at the very soul...I would presume to say that this a nicely contrived piece of work. |

Oh nessa.....I dont know this pain first hand and would be a liar to say I know how you feel. All in can offer you in my undying friendship and a shoulder anytime you need one. You write with such beautiy nessa...even through your tears.
