I wonder what you're doing
in your world
so far, yet down the road
from me
It seems at times
you want me back
by how you look my way
but I guess it's all just
wishful thinking
and my wishes seldom come true
Simply seeing your face
and hearing your voice
makes the blood pump faster
The presence of you lifts my day
My mind and body are no longer in this world
but in yours
Drifting closer without speaking
our eyes to be the love light
I wish that you could tell me
what you're doing in your world
so far, yet down the road
from me
It is there I will find my peace
