Taking on
A life of its own
The beauty
Of such
Not quite
Apparent yet
Growth only
Felt by one
In short
A time soon
Others will see
Feared is that time
When confrontation
Of this new person
Will be inevitable
And all will see
And know
What happened
For this person
To be
Life will never be the same
And yet
I fearfully yearn for that day
