My most favourite commercial

Contributed by Wrybod on Tuesday, 2nd March 2004 @ 08:55:41 PM in AEST
Topic: StoryPoetry

The adverts on the 'telly
are not much good at all.
They're not a patch on ones we had
when I was very small.

Like one day at the seaside
the sun was shinning bright
the sky was all a lovely blue
with not a cloud in sight

And then a little biplane
flew over very high
and with a pure white smoke trail
wrote Persil in the sky

Oh I remember when they used to do that. And when they would pull the long huge signs behind them. Gosh, I had forgotten that. Seemed miraculous to me. TV commercials are so boring and crass.

super beat..super rythme

Biplanes were long from long ago,
and that is so 'cause they were slow,
I find that when I'm on the go,
I rival planes from long ago...

Oh Wrybod I remember those, when I had my shop in Vail......a man came in and wanted to know?
Could you make a big sign out of your materials?
I'm flying over Vail today to propose to my wife.
And indeed he did. Right there on the Golfing tour. All of Vail and all the Golfers got to see him propose......right there in the sky
plane, with trail.
Saying Mary Me! Was really neat to say the least!
Wonderful memories in this one
love
