Hello,
I know you see me here,
Though you look right through me.
We used to be good friends.
What happened?
Won't you please talk to me,
Or at least listen?
How about a little smile?
Why are you ignoring me?
Ignorance, I guess.
Hello,
I'm your pet.
I'm hungry, why don't you feed me?
I feel neglected,
And abused.
I know you know
I'm here.
Just a few minutes ago you tripped over me.
Why won't you pet me?
Why do you ignore me?
What did I do?
Ignorance, it seems.
Hello,
I'm your father.
Why do fight me
When you do decide to talk to me?
I understand you're a rebellious teenager,
But even though you don't want me to,
I do care.
I have a choice, you know.
I don't have to.
I don't have to be here,
I could be like so many others
And say 'Forget it' and give up,
But I stay because you're my daughter
And I love you.
Why do you ignore me?
Do you really not love me,
Or do you just hide it?
Ignorance, it has to be.
You go through your life miserable.
You've ignored everyone
And everything that loved you.
You quit talking to a close friend
Because he loved you.
Your beloved dog died
Bacause you neglected and abused it.
Your father died
Because of the broken heart
You gave him.
What do you have left?
You ignored God.
How? He sent his ONLY son to die for you
And you ignored Him?
You've gone through life ignoring love.
You have nothing left.
Why.
Ignorance. Nothing else.
