i miss things like they were the days we use to walk miles to the streams in the summer even though we were fully aware there was a swimming pool just down the road it was all about the adventure and excitment we'd try anything new now we've lost the adventure and the excitement but what's worse is i've lost you i remember our pact to always be together haunted words make me sweat on these now lonley summer days forever and eva i remember video nights sneaking in just a bit of vodka in our drinks just to make us feel that little bit older now we are older but where are you now in a club hanging around with a different crowed i know this is reality at its cruel best but anything i'd give to give my pining heart just a little rest but now the winter's nights are setting in and gradully the evenings get darker i lose just a little hope i wish we wre swinging over the stream in that old tyre on a rope

Aww loopylou, this poem is very sad and full of emotion. I can't type much, as I'm getting Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, but this is an amazing poem. I loved it. |
