The End

Contributed by SirensLight on Thursday, 4th March 2004 @ 09:40:10 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

It stirs within me
stealing my breath
as it quickly takes control
my thoughts all scatter
as if a wind blew them away

my eyes become vacant lots
my world shatters
as my soul longs to fly away
my eyes close heavily
as if weighed down by the words you speak

I take in a shaky breath
my head curled against my chest
thoughts slowly return to me
memories of days gone by
that will never exsist again

my eyes slowly raise to yours with a sigh
trying to comprehend what brought this about
you look shocked to see my pain
yet still you turn and walk away

my body gives out
and I fall on my knees
I can't stop the tears
as they fall like rain
and I can't stop my heart from breaking
like a shattered window pane

I feel empty inside
but no longer do you care to comfort me
no more do you come
to wipe away my tears

you have gone
and I am left here
broken and alone
scared and defeated
my heart and soul
wounded more than
you will ever know

Only time will tell
if I will ever be whole

And then enters a man
From Martins Ferry,
His love radiates
And your loved again

He is there to comfort,
He is there to show,
Show you love,
Love and compasion without regret

He is your forever,
He will be there,
He is your endeavour,
Your love he shall repair,

So trust in him,
Cuz i'm that one guy,
When life is looking dim
All my love to you, and no need to ask why....

Tough times come but they also go. You seem to know about them in this writing.
