Haiku

Morning is at hand. Cold lake waits the rising sun. A lonesome stillness.
Silhouette of trees. Against the moon raked by clouds. Eerie scene at night.
Stem of bleeding hearts. Heinous day of infamy. We shall overcome!
Fresh rose of beauty. Alive for our enjoyment. You're a treasured gift.
Amid the daisies. Small girl poses for picture. She blends in quite well.
Ferocious strong bear. Terror of your vast domain. We'll keep our distance.

The blatancy of Hailu often come to me stark and unemotional but this is great - a modernised edge - God bless the apostrophe!
