The sun beats its rays down upon me
As a brand new day is born
It feels just like a new beginning
A step away from the norm
The grass feels so soft under my feet
The breeze cools my face and I want more
As I go into a place to meet
The one woman whom I adore
Whenever my life is at its worst
She always makes me feel this way
Neither fire nor brimstone, nor forces of earth
Will ever take me from her, I pray
She is as gentle as a dove
She is my life, she is my love
