Heart On Paper

Contributed by jbrow on Friday, 5th March 2004 @ 08:33:46 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

I put my heart on paper, as I write this letter, of love to you. I just
picked up my pin, and wrote down the words, from my heart, so I hope that
you read this letter to you, all, of the way through.
For the life, of me. I dont know why you dont tell me; Whats wrong?
It breaks my heart, to see you this way, with your tears flowing down your
face, onto your dress, as a tissue paper gently touch your eye lids, and lips. I
look into your eyes, and they talk to me, for you, and they say to me, hold
me please, and dont say anything at all. O how it hurt me to see you this
way; When the only thing that I could do is hold you, and not say anything at
all. So I picked up my pen, and let it talk to the paper; I hope, that one day;
Youll are strong, enough, to read the words. From my heart, the words that
you spoke with your eyes. This, is my heart, on paper.

I honestly don't know how to comment to this work. It is life, it is love, it is sad and it is beautiful. Hopefully everything will work out.

rainbows,
Rita

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
