Your help to me was my closure
and your heart to me was my home
and when our last fight took place
did you realise that I would of given my everything
to have seen you through that pay-phone?
We were miles apart
I sat there and talked to you for hours
until it got real dark outside
then I got home and realised...
That you were for real..
I felt like I hadn't felt for a long time that night
empty enough to want to die
you cried and told me that it was for the best
and that it all seemed inevitable to you
but then I dont think you realised
that for you I would of done anything
but since then things have changed
and Ive become someone a little more bitter
maybe even a little more cold..
and to think you were the one who told me
about bad people doing bad things
and how things come back ten fold
If thats the case...
I suggest you hold on
because you hurt me alot
and sometimes...even today...
I think what you did was on purpose
and you knew that what you did to me that day
would of brought up alot of past feelings
demons re-surfaced
I didnt do anything
besides let you go as a lover
which i now look back and wonder
on why that was such a hard thing to do
I dont see it as love anymore
but despite the past
I made a promise to you..
and I am now man enough to make it true
so I will always be here,right until the end
because above everything...
unhappyness and emotions aside
you are now one of the few friends...
that I'd die to defend.
