Why does the earth shake, when you leave?
Why does the ground shake, when my heart cleaves?
How can it matter, these lonely days, leaving me empty as we go our ways.
Watching the earth turn, while waiting for death, feeling my heart churn while hoping for rest.
Knowing I can't live
Much longer in love, feeling no peace, no care from above.
