Unable to think
I stare at the sky
Just can't help
To wonder why
Leave me alone
Give me my space
Can't stop picturing
His caring face
Why was it him
Did he have to go
All I could say was "no"
They said he was sick
And couldn't get better
I was too little
Insisted my mother
Maybe I was but
I still knew he was dying
And always did
But then again
I used to think...
He was coming back.
