Lord I have been so angry I havent felt your touch I dont feel you beside me, it hurts so much!! I know I acted so foolishly I know that you are real! And I pray you will forgive me. Sorry is an understatement of how I feel I wont lie and say the pain is gone I still hurt so bad I sit and cry But I know by myself I cant make it to dawn And often times I wish I could die But you prove to me each new day that you have a plan for me
You arent finished, so then I start to pray: Oh GOD I come before you most humbly
To beg forgiveness of my sins for you to make a right my every wrong For my heart I pray you cleanse Help me sing again a happy song Help me be the light that shows others of your grace And remove from me the demons that I fight and again allow me to look upon your face Lord, you know the heart of this poor sinner I pray you walk beside me again Make my future so much brighter let me once more call you my friend!
