Relationships are tainted
Through tinted glass
through which you peer
You b**ch,
you jeer
at me.
Youre teasing and youre lying,
if Im unpleasing,
then youre lying
with another man
and I find I cant stand
to stand and watch time
destroy
what I have worked so hard to achieve
but deceive
is all you do
I think Im through
with this,
with you,
but when you kissed
me I knew
I could never withdraw
And this you saw.
With yellow fingers
you stroked, stoked,
and choked
my crystallized heart
Within my silken chrysalis,
I am immured.
