I have a friend I have a friend
Shes a dove with incandescent grin
Her lifes suffered plagues too strange
But she conquered with love and courage
Ahoo what a journey it was
We didnt dream well ever be friends
But like a crown came our poetry gift
Though it was patience who held our light
Then when I talked I voiced a blight
And at times a whispering mockery
And we finally fell into bursting laughter
When she clutched I was a harmless mister
She is here always my poetic highness
And know its enough that I stay low
And move along the edges of the crowd
Cause in her I have a friend Im proud
