I need to do this on my own…

Contributed by Kristina_Simpson_Stewart on Monday, 8th March 2004 @ 08:28:11 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

How can you be so insensitive?
You do not know the life I have to live
I know how hard you are trying
But you have never felt the pain that causes my crying
I know you want to understand the way that I feel
And you wish you could somehow help me heal
This is just something only I can do
So thanks for sticking by me
One day, from this pain I hope to get through

Nicely done Kristin....I'm sorry about your miscarriage,my deepest condolences.I can relate to part of what you mean, the part about doing it alone...My friend died beside me in a car accident 3 years ago and whenever I go to her gravestone,it's alone I want to be,alone I NEED to be,no one else can understand or abbreviate the pain inside, kind of like you,you have to live it to really know how deep the cut can be and really is.What people don't seem to understand is that the heart has no ears.It doesn't listen.Take some time alone and it's ok,whatever will help you get through this tough time. And don't worry if it takes months, years, every cut heals differently at different paces.Much love,
PumpkinPie

for fear of being labeled an insensitive, i felt your pain in these words, I cannot behold the feeling it must give you but I am reaching out to you in this small way to say, I care. I will also go read some more of your writing.
