All of you have passed me by,
Standing there and staring,
At the walls, my locker, or out a window,
Never once have you stoped,
Never payed me a second glance,
Never stoped to hear a thought,
or even stoped to talk,
Am I just some shadow,
Blending in with the walls,
Or seemingly all black and white,
Sometimes I wish that I were,
Nothing in your eyes,
And it is so,
And then aguin when I want to be,
Still nothing I remain,
Nothing to you or anyone else,
And I am soon to be,
Nothing to me,
So now can you see me,
Well I guess not,
For one more time,
You passed me by.

Lovely ....but so sad...I'm sure you are exaggerating this.......I'm ceratin there are people who care...
If I haven't yet, let me welcome you to YPDC...the best poetry site on the net...

| Hey there, welcome to YPDC! I liked your poem, it's sad and reflects the image in schools nowadays, where people tend to be choosy about who they talk to. It kind of reminds me of that girl in Linkin Park's Numb video. Don't say people don't care, people here at YPDC certainly do. Cheers and take care. |
