suicide

Contributed by loopylou on Tuesday, 9th March 2004 @ 10:39:11 AM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

everybody talks about sucide
whlist standing on their ledge
i wonder how many of us will end up dead
i wouldnt jump not into thye stone
my wish for you is to get help
dont live alone
i would cradle you
your broken body i would hold
if your sad woes could be told
its not the people you think it is
its the people who hold it inside
i can feel the shock on the relatives faces when they suddenly die
you cant see it in their face
but it creaks within their bones
theirs a certain despratness pleading to not be alone
everybiody talks about sucide
whlist standing on their ledge
friends and family
put to rest
sucide isnt a sin
forget the book its written in
focus on the here and now
dont judge but help these people
else their time runs out

suicide is such a tragic thing. while it is true that many people do think about it, it takes real guts to stand down and not go through with it. suicide hits all of us real hard and it is really hard to go through, and hopefully after reading this wonderful piece of writing that you have composed, many people will stand down and not go through with it because just think of the family that you are leaving behind; they have feelings too. beautiful write.
