This love that I have
Is aching to be free
How I long to tell you
What I want us to be.
I look at you
Looking at me
The love in your eyes
Is so clear to see.
My heart skips a beat
As realization sinks in
Id never have guessed
The love you had within.
Standing here shyly
A grin on my face
I tell you how I feel
As my heart starts to race.
Can this be true
This time for real
I cant explain
How I sometimes feel.
Doubt controls my body
And fear leaks in
But you insist
This is what you want to begin.
Every worry vanishes
And a smile comes back
Thats all I needed to know
To get me back on track.
Even though this is
The best thing Ive ever had
I cant promise you
Ill never get mad.
But if you can trust me
And love me today
Well be together
Now and for always.
