Today I almost killed myself,
but almost doesnt cut it.
I had the blade to my wrist,
ready to slash,
when I remembered the promise I made to myself.
I promised that I would tell the one
whom I held most dear,
before I killed myself good bye,
and that I love him.
I wanted to say Im sorry
for causing you so much pain.
Im sorry I dumped you
and I always will be.
I have to tell him its not his fault
I want to do this.
I want to hug him one last time,
I want to see his beautiful face.
For it will be the last beautiful thing I see.
And so for you,
my love, my rose,
I wait to die.
So one last time,
I may say good-bye.
