love
a poor mans dream
of happiness
the roses red
kiss kiss
diamond ring
happy ever after

fairytale
over and over again
prince charmin'
well
he don't exist
in reality
he won't sweep you
off your feet
or
ride up on a white horse
dreams
and fallacies
wheres the truth

love hurts
its pleasure
its pain
tears and smiles
giggles, laughter and screamin'
fights and makin' up
ups and downs
no fairytale
no cindrella
or snow white

has love changed
since
our parents
and the writers
of those books
were they once reality
if so what happened to love
why did it change

why
is love
now
so differant
from what
we were told about
in are youth
why
can't we say
or tell
what real love is
why
what is love?
