An itch
Out of reach
Spreading
Creating
And overwhelming
A scream
Buried in the clouds
Carried away
To a far area
Clueless
Of the cause
Or source
Of such
Horror
Never they know
Til death be upon them
With talons
To relieve
The itch
With pain
Blood dripping
Seeping from the soul
The sun
Descending under the corpse
As flowers grow
In the stars
Above the scream-filled cloud
And the tears rein underground
