Springtime

Contributed by New_York_Chick on Thursday, 11th March 2004 @ 05:02:43 PM in AEST
Topic: happypoetry

Smile for the sun
Sing with the birds
Find that special one
And say those three words

Smile for the trees
And sing to your dog
Feel the warm breeze
And don't be scared of a frog

Smile for the sky
Sing along with a song that rocks
Find a way to fly
And buy some unmatching socks

Smile when you walk outside
Laugh at yourself
Get on a scary rollercoaster ride
And imagine that you were twelve

Smile for no apparent reason
Help those in need
Isn't this just the perfect season
To plant a sunflower seed
