A love like yours and mine
would stand the toughest of times
we could walk through walls of fire
or water when the tides are at their highest
We could cross over any river
and to any doubtful soul..
we could make a believer
We could make the birds sing in the sky
and make the sun brightly shine
We could feed the hearts of the love-hungry forever
just through the love we share together
We could preach the word
and make the things hard to see,heard
we could make wishes apon the stars
not for fancy things like clothes or cars..
but for love
We could fullfill our dreams
just with the love that we share
no matter how tough things to us may seem
We could give the needy a place to stay
not a home but a heart to live within
We could climb up the steepest hills
and hate we can conquer..
hate we can kill
Feelings we can respect
and on the good things we can reflect on..
Together
We could teach people how to love
and make others see just what we have
and i know that they will know a mile away
just by looking at my smile
We could look into someones eyes
and take away their fears
their desperate cries
together we could do anything
together we could save lives
after all,you alone,saved mine
I truly believe that when you love someone
anything you can accomplish
Whether it be a dream or a wish
and all these things and many more
I would like to fullfill with you
maybe then people would understand how fine...
this love of ours is...

This is so inspirational and incredibly beautiful! The only complaint I have is the line "hate we can kill." Killing, after all, is driven by hate, so that sort of just replaces one instance of hate with another. But other than that...yes, it is downright breathtaking what love can do. Amazing poem!
