Your sparkling eyes are like my stars,
They shine with beauty's light.
Your brilliant smile is like the sun,
It guides me through the night.
Your silky hair is like the sky,
It leaves me staring, such illumination.
You're just so stunning,
I seem to lose my concentration.
But most of all,
It's your heart that matters.
It beats with love's rhythm,
Without it, I'm left in tatters.
But if all of this were to go away,
For me, there would be no day.
If your love was to disembark,
My life would be left in dark.
And the sky would fall,
the day would fade to black.
The sun would dim to grey,
Without you, my life is nothing,
But a simple, worthless day...
