how can you weep and turn it around
throw guilt in my face like a shroud
to block out the sun and the air
no, I'll not let you do it this time
I rip it away with an angry glare
it you think you can have things your way
you are more wrong than you know
I'll not stand it another day
the gloom and the doom
that you bring to my door
I have stars on my fingertips
and bells on my toes
for my friends give me heart
and everyone knows
the suffering that goes on
behind my green eyes
they see what you do not
wish to acknowledge
settled into your selfish endeavors
leaving me shivering out in the cold
I gird myself for the last battle
I know it will tear us apart
but the war has gone on too long
and too much has already been lost

I have lived this.......the hurt, anger and pain in this write makes it painful to read. Yet the resolve to make a life change gives it strenght. We're here for ya always.
