There are many standing at the door, but those who are alone will enter the bridal suite.
And so it is with me, alone I'll always be
The same as yesterday, I watch my life slip away
Why have I become like this
Why am I saddened
Didn't I know it was coming
Didn't you have this all planned
But now I lay here and cry
For my life is passing me by
Afraid of uncertainty
Anything else would be a lie
I sit here and watch the rain
Which slowly eases my pain
Yet with it brings a depressing sense
Knowing my life no longer makes sense
So now I cry out for help
Not knowing who truly cares
All my loved ones have disappeared
And left me drowning in my tears
Blessed are those who are alone, for you will find the kingdom.
For you have come from it, and you will return there again.
And so it is with me, alone I'll always be
The same as yesterday, I watch my life slip away
