Gray Skies and I'm Tainted

Sorrow curls its fingers around me
Despair grays my sky
My insides are burning into ashes
And my soul, it waits to die
Pain strikes me closer
Nails driven into my mind
Splintered are the thoughts I hold
And sought will never find
Splintered is my existence
Cursed is my face
Tears that drown me forever
And I echo out of place
Bleeding are my eyes
Blue and in despair
Hatred burrows into emptiness
And smile onto time never there
Mystery blends tomorrow
Clouded and live let be
Cursed pains that taint us
And these gray skies are tainting me
Paint my sky with color
Spill the extra on the floor
Blend with blood everlasting
And I'll stand still behind the door
Dirty sheets cover my mind
Stained beyond what will
I'm tainted with love everlasting
And I love it even still
Shroud of darkness spread over me
Close my eyes
Shadowed are my abilities
And here this inhibited pathetic body lies
Headstone blank and sorrowful
Drooping and concrete will stand
You've slipped away from happiness
And I'm still running as fast as I can
Oxygen has left my atmosphere
Water used up on tears
You've completed the puzzle
And assured all of my deepest fears
Solving problems always
Losing what we love to regret
I wish forever as the Wisher
Please let this Wisher forget
