Tuesday's Coming

Stuck in the middle of an Earth Plains strewn across open space
Lost in a cycle neverending Waiting in a sick, hateful place
Hurt beyond dreaming Falling faster than evermore
Goodbye's calling louder Silent behind the dungeon door
Fairy tales and beautiful things Seeming to never rest
Grounded with my head in the clouds Sleeping in the dragon's nest
Return to the wishing well Toss in my hopefuls
Meet you on a Tuesday morning Surrounded by your doubtfuls
Crying out for change A cause that never was
The pain of sad has stricken me motionless Your embrace heals me as it always does
