Unable to sleep without thoughts of you
Unable to think knowing not what's true
these feelings I've tried to hide
feeling only truth of what's inside
Wanting you when you aren't here
life without you I seem to fear
I sit here alone, waiting only for you
I hate the waiting, but there's nothing I'd rather do
Dreaming and waking to what's not
jumbled thoughts soon to be forgot
keep myself in a bubble, unable to be harmed
these words to you shouldn't leave you alarmed
my breath slows to settled sighs
I drift off to sleep as I close my eyes
close my eyes, you are there
why can't life be that simple and fair
I begin to dream, your body swallows mine
I am in heaven, thoughts only devine
you hold me close, never to let go
I look into your eyes, and love is all to show
we sit in silence, my heart begins to race
I hear your heartbeat in my own ears, the same pace
Only in my dreams we are one together
Never in reality, lost without my own soul forever
I drift off, deeper in my dream without control
I find you again, and realize you are what makes me whole
