I guess it never sunk it.
I knew you left;
I knew youd change;
But it never sunk in.
I shouldve known
I guess I tried to keep everything the same;
But my hopes didnt stand a chance.
People are never fair;
Endings never end happy;
Thats life.
As much as it sucks,
I need to learn to accept it
I had hoped wed always be together;
But how can I change this,
When I cant even stop change?
I saw you come;
I saw you leave;
I saw you changed;
And I never got it.
It never sunk in.
Till now, at least.
I can only hope you miss us,
But I question if its sunk in.
I certainly feel uncertainty.
I doubt were even there to you.
Hopefully, it will sink in,
That were always here;
No matter what crap you pull.
