Emotions enrage; so I stain this page With ink bleeding my thoughts blacker than night-- I make oceans rage, have their waves engage The shores with all my fury and might 'Til each grain of sand obeys my command And the four winds howl in sheer agony. This thought composed land shall never withstand The true viciousness of my tyranny. The blinding white rays of my piercing gaze Splinter celestial layers above Earth. I relish the ways roaring fires blaze And life attempts escape for all its worth; But there's no shelter from such intense storms... Nor from my emotions when they take forms. Exquisitly composed rhyme. You, my dear, are a poet. One thing: I would change last two lines to: " worth.(period after worth) Then:
There's scant shelter for an intense storm....
Nor for my emotions when they take form.
(because, don't you think the double plurel--"emotions and forms" need changed?)
Never-the-less, I'm impressed. |
