Take me in your arms and hold me tight.
Never let me go, even if I put up a fight.
You are one person that can help me.
I hope you wont set me free.
With your help, maybe, I can get over it.
If not, to a hospital I will be sent.
Baby don’t take it personal, I don’t want to hurt you.
I’m trying to get better, It’s true.
It is so hard to quit something I love though.
Even if you hate it, I want the weight loss to show.
Just be there to support me while I am getting better.
Ana is an old friend, you have never met her.
It will be hard for me to let her go.
At times I may be offered food but will say no.
But try to convince me to eat so I don’t die.
If I don’t get better, my life will continue to be a lie.
I want to have a future with kids and a spouse,
Get a career, and own a house.
I need to get better, I need help from you.
You can change needs to wants, and my attitude will be new.
