Youre not what I expected
But worth all of my time
Certainly not what I imagined
But still, you inspired me to write this rhyme
I had fun the times we spent together
And saddened when we had to part
Surprised that you were in to me
And I wanted to write this work of art
Sorry things didnt work out
But maybe we could talk it through
Explain what went wrong after things ended
I still want to get to know you
Some reason I figured that youre glad Im gone
Away from you and out of your way
Im probably not what you expected
But I wish you would have stayed
