Pit of Despair

I can't look in the mirror I can't take what I see, standing infront of me I'm rotting on the inside And I've turned into a creature full of enmity I see a blaze of fire in my eyes And a cloud of darkness on my mind I once was so happy and free But now I'm depressed and sad...
I always look at the world Head up high and smiling But I'm just a liar 'Cause a part of me dies everyday I'm losing my mind My words are fading, and becoming pointless I never knew...who I thought I knew And now I'm lonely...

Whoah totally shocking...in a good way. Mostly what you have written here when you were depressed is what is engraved in my ownself now for what has seemed like ages. Magnificent poem, especially for those who know what you are saying and been there themselves. |
