A Mans Heart
-------------------
A mans heart,
Isnt as tough as his skin.
The tissues around it,
Are really quite thin.
A mans heart,
Can be broken with ease.
Its most happy,
When it sets out to please.
A mans heart,
Is more delicate that strong.
At times it makes decision,
Thats turns out all wrong.
A mans heart,
Is secretive and shy.
Back it into a corner,
It will only deny.
A mans heart,
Will never be fully understood.
But it will risk all for love,
Stand alone if it could.
A mans heart,
Needs the companionship of another.
Someone to love,
A reason to putter.

Great write, Jeff....but you could have written a "woman's heart" and it would have also rung true....

Lol just read Jenny's comment.....This poem is wonderful! Very sweet. Well guess I have to change my opinion on men now *sigh* Hmm its good to know there are still sentimental man. Where I live its an almost extinct species. Loved this poem! Great write!
