Why do you plague my dreams?
I simply want to scream
You haunt my every thought
A nightmare that I've wrought
From knowing you
From breathing you
I don't want to love you
I'm not that kind of person
I'm positive, I'm certain
I want to love you
But I refuse
To desire you
To lust for you
I don't want to love you
I'm not the kind for your affection
But you're smile comes undbidden
And I don't want it to
'Cause I'll get lost in you
To breathe you
To please you
I don't want to love you
Say that you hate me
Beat me, twist me, break me
So that I will loathe,
That my hate shall impose,
My want of you
The taunt of you
I don't want to love you
I tell myself I don't
I tell myself I won't
Say that I don't lust
But my lies I cannot trust
To scream at me
To lie to me
I don't want to love you
