Time to give up
And say good-bye
I gave it a shot
I gave it a try
There is nothing
To keep me around
Everything I've lost
Cannot be found
I willingly follow
The only path known
And take a step
And stand alone
Too much forgotten
To bring it back
My heart is cold
My soul is black
Nothing before
And nothing again
Nothing is what
Its always been
I've searched too many
Empty eyes
Evil eyes
Lies in disguise
But now I know
The story well
And I won't mind
If they go to hell
I've searched too many
Loveless eyes
Too many nights
Echo my cries
I thought that love
Would come to me
But this lost soul
Lives in agony
When I become one
With the earth and sky
I'll never again
Need to wonder why
I no longer wish
To fight this fight
I no longer want
To see the light
So hold me close
This one last time
Hold me close
And say good-bye
Now I lay
Me down to sleep
The end is here
I will not weep
