They're all around me, they all look so happy
They're all around me, they look so sad
In each of them lies something that most do not want
In each of them lies something that some embrace
They all cry out silently, they cry for that warmth
They all cry out silently, they cry for that feeling

Why?

Why do all of them desire that which I can't have?
I gave up trying long ago to have it
Simply because no one could ever give it to me
This feeling that makes them so happy
This feeling that makes them so warm
This feeling that makes them forgot their problems
They merely bask in its light

Why?

Why can't I have it?!
Why can no one ever return it to me?!
