Counting, counting
This I am

Grains of sand
Counting leaves, and bugs and flowers
Counting lives we lead for others
Counting days of years gone by
Counting counting, this am I
Counting lives lived and lost
Counting joys, griefs, and sorrows
Counting endlessly through the night
Counting, counting my delight
Count the minutes, the seconds gone by
Count the lives we've lived and lied
Count the truths, so few to care
Count for love for it's always there
These I count, and reasons I do
These I count, for me and for you
I count and count, to take up my time
I count and count, for this moment in time
Counting now, and counting then
Counting soon, counting and then
Stop do I, this ceaseless counting
To picture you, couting too

I love the counting poem. Alot of people count just to relax or calm their nerves. I find my self counting the steps I walk the number of letters in a word a phrase.
Any who, I don't have anything bad or critical to say about the poem. I'm sorry but I think it was just that good. |
