Sometimes the poetry is subtle Sometimes the poetry is direct Sometimes your heart is causing trouble The kind your mind cannot detect
To read a string of words unknown And feel your innocence now gone And how you wish you could predict When words can injure like a stick
A poet terrorist has struck Exploding words now run amuck With words that can't be taken back Can you survive such an attack?
Is there a test that one can take? Before you read what poet's make Cause if your innocence is gone It's not from reading that went wrong
Your chaperone was fast asleep Your virtue was for her to keep There's magic in the poetry and sailor talk and such But sex is not a mystery and one can say as much
