Beacon Over the Sea

It is a chilly spring night. Moonlight reflects off of the few remaining patches of snow. With it's light, comes a glow of angelic proportions. Much like the glow from her smile. Shining through the dark, as if it were a beacon. Guiding a lonely heart to true love, through a see of depression. The glow of her pure soul aids in this task. The lonely heart, moving closer to it's destination, feels the sea grow calmer around it. Finally, to find the shore and feel the embrace of her glow. Never more, fearing the sea.

Outstanding poem. Drawing from fear and loneliness to love in comparison to coming in to shore. Very Very Good! |
